Our Ethics

SWTC Business Services is in the business of providing piece of mind to our clients. We do this by through our tax and bookkeeping services as well as our computer consulting services. To provide these services our clients they must share with us some of the most private and personal information they own. We do not take the responsibility lightly and ethics is a major component of our business as well as our personal lives.

Most ethical decisions and choices can become quite complicated. Be we have chosen a must simpler approach to these issues. We use the "Golden Rule" (treat others as you want to be treated) as our guiding principle for the way we do business. Therefore, we treat our client's information with the utmost care. When data has to be stored, those systems are built and secured the way we would want our data protected. When that data needs to be shared, we make sure the client has expressly permitted us to share that data and that they understand the need to share it.

Our financial world is constantly changing: federal tax laws, state tax laws, franchise taxes, and property taxes. So, education is an important component of the way we do business. We take continuing professional education seminars and classes to stay current with the changing tax laws so that we can find ways to better serve our clients. But, we also want to educate our clients because we truly believe that the more you learn the less you will pay.
